Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges
LaGrange College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees, as well as the educational specialist degree. LaGrange College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), has granted accreditation to the LaGrange College Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program (M.A.).
Georgia Professional Standards Commission
LaGrange College’s teacher education (undergraduate and graduate) programs are accredited by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission to recommend candidates for initial teacher certification in the areas of elementary education, music education, middle grades education, and secondary education.
