Ed. S. Curriculum and Instruction INITIAL

Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Curriculum and Instruction Initial certification is designed for the educator who holds a Master's Degree in a field other than Curriculum and Instruction. Upon completion of all program requirements, candidates can apply to have the field of Curriculum and Instruction added to their certificate at the Education Specialist level.

Adding Educational Leadership to an Ed.S. Initial Program
Candidates seeking the Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Curriculum and Instruction (Initial certification) may elect to add Tier I or Tier II Educational Leadership certification. Information on courses and requirements for and Tier II may be found on the respective program pages. 
Ed.S. Initial with Tier I - 46 credit hours
Ed.S. Initial with Tier II - 45 credit hours
