This course is the Private Pilot I ground course that accompanies AVIA2101 flight training. This is the first of the two-semester sequence of Private Pilot Ground School. Private Ground develops the student’s aeronautical knowledge required for certification as a Private Pilot with an Airplane Single Engine Land rating. The Private Ground courses covers basic aviation terms and concepts from FAA publications. Some concepts include basic aerodynamics, aircraft systems, flight planning, meteorology, airport operations, navigation, and several other important private pilot concepts.
