This course explores the essential elements of professional nursing and introduces students to the LaGrange College nursing program. It is designed to introduce students to the language of nursing, critical thinking, the essential academic skills for incoming students and the interpersonal skills required for success in nursing school and professional practice. Students will explore fundamental nursing concepts, including the theoretical foundations, philosophical principles, and ethical and legal frameworks that guide the profession.
