Transition to Professional Practice

This course is designed to prepare students for successful entiy into professional nursing practice and for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Through comprehensive review of core nursing concepts, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based practice, students will integrate knowledge gained throughout the program and apply it to complex patient care scenarios. Emphasis is placed on clinical judgment, test-taking strategies, prioritization and delegation, and safe, effective nursing care across the lifespan. Corequisites: NURS 4435 and NURS 4450
