This event will demonstrate the core elements of calligraphic hand lettering, specifically focusing on gothic blackletter forms. In the 1400's, most books were produced with hand lettering, commonly featuring this form of type or similar. For our exercise, we will work towards creating one word with ink and balsa wood to create a small graphic poster.
