Posted on Friday, December 17, 2021

This year's 3D Journeys topic is Boston

The 12th season of 3D Journeys will feature the historic and vibrant city of Boston.

The lectures will kick off at 10 a.m. Jan. 24 in Callaway Auditorium when History professor Dr. Richard Soash discusses “Boston’s Faneuil Hall: The ‘Cradle of Liberty’ in the American Revolution and Beyond.”

Dr. Greg McClanahan (Mathematics) will speak Feb. 28 on “Triple Play: Mathematics, Baseball and Board Games,” followed by Dr. Anthony Wilson’s lecture, “‘The Tonic of Wildness’: Boston Writers on City and Country” on March 28.

More information will be available in January.

Campus notes

Congrats to Jonathan Williams (fourth from left) who recently rang the Chapel Bell as part of the college’s Sound of Success. Graduating seniors who have received either notice of admission to graduate school, or a post-graduation job offer, may ring the Chapel bell to celebrate their accomplishment. Students must complete an online form and they will be sent instructions on how to ring the bell.

There are only two more weeks left until 2022 arrives, but there is still time to make a tax-deductible gift for 2021 at www.lagrange.edu/give that will make a difference for students in the new year.

This is the final @lagrange for 2021. The first issue of 2022 will be Jan. 7. Warmest wishes for a happy and blessed holiday season.
