Military History
The minor in Military History proposes to consider not just the battlefield history of conflict but strategic and tactical thinking, as well as leadership both on and off the battlefield. We've long understood that conflict is a fundamental part of the human experience. It has been a driving force in history. As such the minor gives students an opportunity to consider this dimension of the human experience in a systematic, analytical, and critical fashion. This kind of critical, strategic thinking has applications across all professional fields.
