At LaGrange College, our Music Department offers a dynamic and forward-thinking environment where creativity, technology, and performance come together. Students can pursue a Bachelor of Music in Music Production & Audio Engineering, developing the technical expertise to thrive in today’s recording and production industries; a Bachelor of Arts in Music, providing a comprehensive education in performance, theory, and history, with the flexibility to explore interdisciplinary interests; or a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre, uniting vocal, dramatic, and dance training for the stage. With a faculty of experienced professionals and state-of-the-art facilities, we prepare students to turn their passion for music and performance into meaningful, successful careers.

• Train with working professionals in our new music facility featuring a state-of-the-art recording studio, TV studio, production suites and spacious rehearsal and performances areas.
• Engage in creative collaborative projects with fellow students from all areas of the Fine & Performing Arts:  Music, Musical Theatre, Theatre Arts, Digital Creative Media & Film, Art.
• Study abroad in one of our Travel courses: Past journeys examined music history in Prague, Vienna and Venice; focused on Broadway and Opera in New York City; and explored the music of Ireland – in Ireland.
• Compete on the state, regional and national levels.
• Pursue an internship with numerous music businesses to gain professional experience.
• Perform in a variety of venues and stages: Beason Recital Hall, Callaway Auditorium, Price Theater, Price Theater Lab, Pure Life Studios.
